Plumbing Field Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide residential and some commercial plumbing services to King George and the surrounding counties.
  • Ability to handle service calls to customers in their homes and troubleshoot and repair/replace various plumbing items which includes but is not limited to fixtures, water heaters, well pump systems, sewer pump systems, sump pumps, water supply and distribution piping, and drain and sewer piping.
  • Supervises and oversees day to day operations of field staff
  • Directs and provides technical support for jobs/pricing for technicians to meet service demands and customer expectations
  • Interviews, hires and trains technicians as required to meet workload demands, and company or customer expectations and requirements
  • Supervises and directs the technicians to effectively perform the functions of equipment repair, installation, start-up, operation, and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Reviews technicians’ work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques and safety requirements; makes recommendations as required to improve quality and productivity
  • Conducts job performance reviews and sets improvement goals per company requirements
  • Establishes and maintains a regular training program to ensure that technicians are properly trained on latest service techniques and safety procedures for equipment and general working conditions
  • Conducts group and one-on-one meetings with technicians as required for training, evaluation and general communication; participates and/or conducts regularly scheduled departmental safety/informational meetings
  • Coaches and counsels employees as needed
  • Communicates as needed with dispatch to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency and training requirements
  • Ensures all company policies are being followed by field staff
  • Oversees assigned service vehicles, monitors vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated as required and used according to company policy
  • Keeps current with latest training on current products, coordinates technician training to ensure personnel maintain proficiency in preventive maintenance, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of supported equipment
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations

Qualifications:

  • Virginia Master Plumber License
  • 5 or more years of experience as a residential plumber
  • Ability to work closely with diverse groups of individuals, including company employees at all levels, customers, vendors, and outside professionals with whom the company does business with on a regular basis
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required
  • Ability to lead and train all field staff is necessary
  • Ability to think and act strategically carrying out long-term plans to meet operational needs and departmental goals.
  • Supervisory experience within the residential plumbing industry is preferred
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Experience working with a digital platform such as ServiceTitan is preferred

Plumbing Service Technician

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide residential and some commercial plumbing services to King George and the surrounding counties.
  • Ability to handle service calls to customers in their homes and troubleshoot and repair/replace various plumbing items which includes but is not limited to fixtures, water heaters, well pump systems, sewer pump systems, sump pumps, water supply and distribution piping, and drain and sewer piping.

Qualifications:

  • Valid VA Driver’s License and clean DMV record
  • 3-6 years of experience as a Plumbing Service Technician
  • Ability to complete basic paperwork like invoices, estimates, etc.
  • Motivation to see all jobs through to completion
  • Ability to complete jobs with little to no supervision
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing with customers
    and co-workers
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Enrollment in or completion of Plumbing Apprenticeship Program preferred

Plumbing Trainee/Apprentice

We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals with an interest in learning the plumbing trade and growing with our company!

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support our Service Technicians on plumbing calls and installations as needed
  • Opportunity for growth to a Service Technician
  • In addition to on-the-job training, the right candidate has an opportunity to apply for an apprenticeship and attend trade school (if not already currently enrolled). We are a Registered Apprenticeship sponsor with the Virginia Department of Labor

Qualifications:

  • Valid VA Driver’s License and clean DMV record
  • Should have own transportation to and from work
  • No plumbing experience necessary
  • Motivation to learn the plumbing trade
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with little to no supervision
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere

Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher (CSR/D)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working in a fast-paced, busy environment
  • Answering, prioritizing and scheduling incoming calls
  • Keeping track of the schedules as they change throughout the day
  • Communicating any updates to technicians
  • Tracking technicians’ pending tasks and making sure they are completed in a timely fashion
  • Calling customers to follow up on recent service calls
  • Responding to and resolving customer inquiries or issues in a prompt, courteous manner
  • Reviewing invoices, payments and estimates for accuracy

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of CSR/Dispatcher experience in a service trade (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, etc.) is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Must be well organized, have great follow up, and be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced office
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must have exceptional customer service (pleasant telephone demeanor, ability to communicate clearly with customer, show empathy when responding to customer’s needs)
  • Self-starter, reliable
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan software is a plus, but not required
